My Realization!
I came to realize that I have made a lot of decisions in my life based on how other people view me! Trying to please and keep everyone happy! Well, today I have decided that this destructive behaviour will stop!
There are a few people in my life that would love nothing better than for me to fall flat on my face with failure! One since she was able to talk. Another since the day I can remember. And others just fall in around them! I've learned of another I didn't even suspect and that's prolly been since I can remember her! Either way it all stops here!
I will no longer think of myself or my TIME as worthless in these people's eyes because I will only be looking through my own eyes!
When I look I see a beautiful person with a huge heart that is always willing to do what she can for someone! Someone who has worked damn hard to get where I am and not about to let anyone belittle what I've accomplished!!! I don't care if it's not enough for. you. This is NOT ur life!! I see a proud as hell mother and wife and I'll be damned if I let anyone (even hubby) steal my joy!!
So you people continue to think I'm worthless or the devil or whatever makes you happy because this crab has her shell for protection and it appears I needed to wear it all the time cuz ya not safe around family either!
Trifflin people who are always staring down their nose at someone as though they are better than them need to grow the hell up!
Other lazy SOB's need to get up and do something useful with yourself!
The one's that think this world revolves around you..........I'm about to show you how much it really doesn't!!
Lonely and trifflin excuse for people should have been the name to this blog!! HaHa

SYTYCD - Top 12 Perform
I totally loved the following routines:
Kathryn/Legacy - Sonya Jazz
Ashleigh/Jakob - Sonya Jazz
Ellenore/Ryan - Tyce Broadway
Mollee/Nathan - Tyce Can-Can
Noelle/Russell - Tyce Contemporary
Ashleigh/Jakob - Cha-Cha
I agree with the judges that Ashleigh/Jakob had the best night ... they had 2 great dances for the night!! That girl knows her ballroom!
I honestly think Karen/Victor will be going home this week.
All the Hip-Hop numbers sucked to me!!! Karen/Victor should have been better but they were so no synched it was horrible.
Mollee and Nathan did OK, but I still think it could have been better!
I think Noelle/Russell's Samba was OK Noelle wasn't sexy enough to me ....
Kathryn/Legacy have made a true name for themselves!!
I like Ellenore/Ryan no matter what ..... the first routine was just OK.
I also don't think any other couple would have pulled off that Can-Can the way Mollee/Nathan did....just took a lot of energy!!
So next week they have to pick their partners AND their dance routines....this is going to be sooooooo fun!!!!

Top 18 Perform
So Nigel announces at the beginning of the show that the "powers that be" as far as producers and $$$ in the show have all agreed that Billy Bell will join the Top 100 in Vegas next season and Brandon Dumlao can re-apply next season. He has to start from scratch though were Billy Bell is already in Vegas! Billy is tons better so we'll see if either make the Top 20 next season!
As they introduce the dancers we see that Noelle is back so hopefully she will show her stuff otherwise she will be going home considering we haven't really seen much of her other than that annoying clip with Mollee about being BFF's in a weeks time!
On with the dancing.........
Noelle(Contemporary) and Russell(Krump) - Hip Hop by Jamal Sims
Jamal is new to the show this season and I have to admit, not too impressed. It wasn't a bad routine, but I could have done without the "tennis" theme. During the video review I did notice that Noelle is a very pretty girl. I think overall Russell hit it, but I expected him to, it was just a weird routine. Noelle could have came a bit harder on her moves, but in the end I was impressed with what she did do. Judges are picking the bottom 4 so who knows what we'll see tonight!!
Ashleigh(Ballroom) and Jakob(Contemporary) - Viennese Waltz by Tony Meredith
Still not feeling Ash too much, but I thought this was a good routine! Jakob sooooo looks like the guy who plays Jimmy on Smallville and with that it's just hard to watch this couple! LOL I think they danced it well enough to stay out of the Bottom 4 this week as well. I'm just not feeling Ashleigh as much as I am Jakob.
Bianca(Tap) and Victor(Contemporary) - Broadway by Tyce DiOrio
I highlighted them as one of the best couples last week, but this week that was one of the WORST performances ever! Technically it was just OK, but they NEVER got into the characters! I mean come on at the end they should have just gone crazy and it never happened!!! Anyone who has ever seen the Color Purple either movie or play can't tell me they didn't feel it more from the movie than that routine!! They should have went to church and never did! So disappointing from Bianca considering she is a black southern woman!!! She should have brought it out of Victor! Mr. Miami!
Mollee(Jazz) and Nate(Contemporary) - Bollywood by Nakul Dev Mahajan
This week officially moves Mollee from the "eh" group! That was an awesome routine and they performed it very very well! How awesome were the spins by Nate in the beginning?? The kid is really good!! Mollee didn't look like a 14 year old trying to be a woman and she really hit the dance moves nice! Nakul is an awesome choreographer. He's also responsible for Joshua and Katie in Season 4, I think, with their Bollywood routine that was just amazing!!
Channing(Contemporary) and Phillip(Tap) - Samba by Tony Meredith
They struggled through that entire routine and the sad part is you can see it! Phillip is weak and he needed a little bitty girl he could throw around..Channing is too much woman for him in more ways than one!!! The parts where Channing didn't have to depend on Phillip she looked hot, but again once Phillip comes in the picture it's struggle city! Plus he's just weird looking to me!! hehe In my opinion this is one couple to be in the Bottom 4.
Karen(Latin Ballroom) and Kevin(Hip Hop) - Hip Hop by Tabith and Napolean
I wasn't impressed with this routine as I normally am with Tab and Nap, but overall it was OK. Maybe my expectations were too high considering she's Latina and his genre IS Hip Hop. The judges go on and on about how sexy Karen is, but did she really hit it as they say she did or was she just sexy enough?? I think Kevin did great with moves but they just seemed soooo simple to me and I wanted to see more!! It was just OK
Kathryn(Contemporary) and Legacy(B-Boy) - Contemporary by Stacy Tookie
Wow, I am impressed with Legacy after watching this routine!! Kathryn is not bad either but this was her style so I expected that! As long as she's not crying she's tolerable!! LOL Legacy pulling it off made it that much better though!! This was one of the best of the night by far!
Pauline(Jazz) and Peter(Tap) - Contemporary Jazz by Wade Robeson
OK, I want some of whatever the hell it is Wade and Amanda are smoking on!!! That was hot and prolly my favorite of the night!! Pauline was with Brandon last week and saved herself in DFYL and Peter lost Ariana so they are a new couple and obviously a better couple. Peter is the best dancer out of all 3 tappers in my opinion and will prolly get the farthest. This was Pauline's style so I expected her to do well, which she did.
Ellenore(Contemporary Jazz) and Ryan(Ballroom) - Argentine Tango by Miriam and Leonardo
I expected Ryan to do well as this is his style and Ellenore is one of my favorite girls so I hoped they pulled this off which they did. It was very elegant and fun to watch. Ryan will make it farther than his wife Ashleigh. He's a better dancer. Ellenore really set the goof aside and was very pretty! Not that I mind the goof, that's part of why I like her! But the Tango is really not the place for it.....unless your one of the Adams'
Now the judges get to pick the bottom 4 dancers and they will have to DFTL. The judges have 3 couples step forward and then advise that the bottom 4 will come for those 3 couples:
Victor(Contemporary) - I didn't realize he was that good either! That was great!
Bianca(Tap) - I'm not one to judge tap since no one does it like Savion for me. It was just OK.
Phillip(Tap) - Ugh! I just don't like him!
After the break the judges have decided who is leaving and Nigel advises they are not unanimous in their decision. We say goodbye and good luck to:

SYTYCD - Top 20 Perform
Going into this I have a few favorites, but after this I will have a few more :)
SO NOT FAIR FOX!!! How dare they take our voting rights away from us due to a BASEBALL GAME!?!? Football I'd consider it, but baseball, ugh!! (Sorry baseball fans, but one I am not) Anywho, due to the baseball game the judges will be eliminating one guy and one girl at the end of the show! They will pick the bottom 4 and they will DFTL and then 2 will have to go home.
When they introduced the dancers first up was Brandon, so I'm guessing Billy Bell is gone. And sure enough the judges confirm, he will need time to recuperate, not sure what illness he got that was that bad! Hope he is OK and I'm with Nigel I will sure miss watching him. Another bit of news is Noelle hurt her knee so she will be out this week and if she cannot perform next week she will also be replaced in the Top 20. So with all the news out of the way lets get on with the performances.
Channing(Contemporary) and Phillip(Tap) - Jive by Jason Gilkilson
This was just OK to me. Same thing Mary said, just OK. I'm still not sure about Channing. She advised us she was a tomboy and it kinda showed in her stiffness tonight! Overall it was entertaining and they looked good (although Phillip is still weird looking to me) Neither have been added to my fav list, but they aren't completely x'd just yet.
Ashleigh(Ballroom) and Jakob(Contemporary) - Broadway by Tyce DiOrio
I believe Jakob will carry Ashleigh because unless she really messes up he is just an amazing dancer!! Ashleigh next to him looks kinda big and clunky to me! She wasn't appearing graceful at all. The overall dance was great but I see this couple getting split up eventually.
Ariana(Contemporary) and Peter(Tap) - Hip Hop by Tabitha and Napolean
I am not sure what the judges were watching here. I loved it!! I thought the both of them danced it very well for NON-hip hop dancers!! I was very impressed with the tapper and Ariana looked great! The judges felt they never found their groove and it was sloppy. I didn't see it, I'll go watch again to make sure, but this is why not getting to vote sux!!
Noelle(Contemporary) and Russell(Krump) - Fox Trot by Tony Meredith
Since Noelle is hurt Russell danced with Tony's red head assistant...Melanie, I think?? Adam advised Russell that he continues to defy explanation. He was really better than I expected. He remains my favorite of the Top 20. I think it wasn't perfect, but it was very different from the hard hitting Krump and he was very smooth!! The sailor shuffles as Mary called them were really good and caught my attention off the bat! I like this kid! I want him to make Top 10!
Bianca(Tap) and Victor(Contemporary) - Contemporary by Travis Wall
This was beautiful. Could have been better but overall really good! Technique wise you can see the difference in the feet of the tapper compared to a contemporary dancer! I understand what the judges are talking about in that aspect! Still loved the routine and how kewl is it that Travis is making such a name for himself as a choreographer!! He was season 2's winner for those who didn't know! I think this couple will go far if they keep dancing like this! They definitely have a connection and they can definitely let the audience in on it!! That will get them far.
Karen(Latin Ballroom) and Kevin(Hip Hop) - Cha-Cha by Tony Meredith
I can't even really make comments as the music was so distracting!! I don't care if it was Salt N Pepa or the Glee Club version that was just NOT the right song for the damn Cha-Cha!! Karen is definitely good in her style, that is a given! Kevin held his own and was impressive. Please pick music that works for the style! Ugh! I can't comment on anything else as I said the music was distracting!
Ellenore(Contemporary Jazz) and Ryan(Ballroom) - Contemporary Jazz by Sonya Tayeh
Sonya is off the chain!!! THAT was an amazing routine and the dancers executed it almost perfectly!! There was just a slight lack of passion for me, but overall the best so far tonight! Ryan is sexy far away, he's not cute in the face to me and he did very well for a Ballroom dancer, he was impressive. This was Ellenore's style so I didn't expect anything less from her!! Great job and leading the pack so far in my opinion!
Pauline(Jazz) and Brandon(Hip Hop) - Smooth Waltz by Jason Gilkilson
They make a cute couple but were prollly the worst couple, of course this is no fault of their own. As we find out they had a whole day and a half to rehearse together and Brandon had no idea he would even be in this position 2 days ago so with that I think if we'd gotten to vote they MAY have been the bottom 3 anyway. Then again they may have gotten sympathy votes so who knows. They both looked very uncomfortable and way out of their element. Still a cute couple, but nothing I'd want to see danced again.
Kathryn(Contemporary) and Legacy(B-Boy) - Hip Hop by Dave Scott
The was surprisingly very very good!!! I loved the concept of the routine and the dancers played the roles well I think. I didn't think Kathryn would be able to pull it off, but she did and Legacy impressed me. I didn't think he had it in him at all, he proved me wrong! I agree he was lucky to pull Hip Hop and not Ballroom but he still better than I expected him to do! This is a close second for the best routine of the night for me.
Mollee(Jazz) and Nate(Contemporary) - Disco by Doriana Sanchez
Disco, not my fav, but these two just seemed to be right in place doing it. It was full of energy and performed well. I like Nate and I think Mollee is maybe growing a little, we'll see. Still not a fav, but the overall performance was good.
So now the judges get to pick the bottom 4 dancers and they will have to DFTL. They select:
Ariana, Brandon, Pauline, and Russell.
Can't say that I agree with it at all, but it is what it is...... BS! hehe

SYTYCD - Meet the Top 20
Now I read on twitter after searching (#SYTYCD) that Billy had been replaced by 21 year old Hip Hopper Brandon Dumlao, but after watching the entire show I saw nothing about that and after watching tonight's show I have to admit that it would be a devastation for the show to loose Billy. I will not be re-posting pictures in this blog so if you need to see who I'm talking about then you will need to go to the previous post where all the pictures are labeled with the dancer's full names and ages. Top 20 Announced Blog
Kat announced that Adam Shankman is now a permanent judge on the show. There are now 4 judge's seats so this means what? 4 judges every week and more risk for tie votes when it comes to DFYL? The 4th chair had a name on the back though.....Paula Abdul. I have had respect for her from day one as a dancer/choreographer so I'm looking forward to hearing some of her critique. More so than I was on American Idol! She just seemed flustered on that panel! I'm wondering if she will be an every week guest judge or if she's only going to do an appearance here and there and the other judges will still be guests. I guess we'll see starting tomorrow night!! (Or tonight if you wanna be technical!)
Wade and Amanda Robson had the pleasure of choreographing the first group number. I was a spin of off the 1930's and was OK for a Robson couple routine. I think the choreographers all kept it simple tonight on purpose. Let's face it, these kids have a LOT of work ahead of them, so why strain them out on routines that don't "count"!! Although the routine was simple and appeared just really easy it was still enjoyable and I'm still looking forward to the rest of the season!
Next was my favorite genre of dance and that is the Hip Hop. Russell, Kevin and Legacy all teamed up to perform and made me realize there are no female Hip Hop dancers this year. Russell and Kevin will definitely give each other competition, but I think Russell will have the better luck with other styles. Legacy was still not impressive to me. He did surprise me as he was able to keep up with Russell and Kevin but that was about it for now. I liked the little Krump session in the middle of the routine, but it wasn't enough for me! I want more!!
Next was the FIRST group of contemporary dancers (so many of them folks they got 2 groups!) This group consisted of Nate, Ariana, Jakob, and Channing. I liked everyone in this group except Channing. I had a preconception about her and I'll have to admit, didn't pay much attention to her during the routine! I was more interested in watching the one's I wasn't sure about yet. Ariana is amazing! Beautiful lines and just a cute little thing! Jakob and Nate both dance masculine and THAT I can deal with in a male contemporary dancer. I hate the "feminine" moving male contemporary dancers! I liked Nate from his audition a year ago though so I was really watching Ariana and Jakob and I liked them both. Jakob may be this seasons high flyer! Always appears to be just gliding through the air!
Next up were the tappers. I think it's sooo funny how a tapper has NEVER made the Top 20 and this season we end up with 3 of these guys!! Bianca, Peter, and Phillip of course warrant a brand new choreographer to the show and it's Derick K. Grant. I was really really hoping for Savion Glover, but no such luck :( After watching their routine I am so glad that Tap is not a genre they will ever have to pick!! I like Tap, but this routine was kinda sloppy and boring. Granted (hehe..get that??) they have all been given pretty simple routines, but they still needed to make this just a little bit more exciting. Bianca was a favorite of mine from last year, but she was cut during Vegas week. Last night I couldn't even focus on her tapping because of the pants she had on....it appeared the crotch was hanging down by her knees and just did not do her any justice at all! Phillip is OK, he's just to weird looking to really care (I know horrible, but he is) Peter impressed me since I didn't know what to expect from him. I thought he performed the best out of the 3 and is really really CUTE! hehe
Next was the Jazz group. Mollee, Pauline, and Ellenore fell into this category. Mohawk Sonya was back this year to cover this genre. She is one of my favorite choreographers by far so I was looking forward to this. They talked about how it would be fast, but sexy.....Didn't see it. The routine was OK, but other than being dressed in little tutu's I didn't really see sexy. Adam went on and on about how they filled the sexy shoes, but not to me they didn't. Mollee still looked like she was 14 to me...except maybe 14 attempting to be 16. Pauline just looked wild kinda and Ellenore looked like she wasn't sure and held back a little. I have to see more from them, but this number just didn't spark anything for any of them for me. I liked Ellenore before tonight and still remain undecided about Mollee and Pauline.
Second group of contemporary dancers are now up. This group consists of Victor, Noelle, Billy, and Kathryn. I was impressed with this group. They worked with Mandy Moore and she may have saved the girls for me. They were both not impressive after Vegas week. They are both just completely annoying, but they danced their hinnies off in that routine and it was really really good!! Billy's lines are just OFF DA HOOK! It was so nice to watch. He has a tendency to get sorta feminine but you can just see the technique ooooze off of this kid when he's performing..it's just sick! (In a good way!) So if Noelle and Kathryn don't talk and just dance I could like them..LOL Victor was good too, but I think Billy outshined him just a little!! Overall, I think this group had the best performance of the night!!
Last group was our Latin Ballroom dancers choreographed by Jason Gilkison. Ryan and Ashleigh, the married couple and then Karen. Karen is from Venezuela and boy does she have sexy Latina coming from all angles when she's on stage! She is definitely more natural than Ashleigh and I think a better performer. Ashleigh will get on my nerves this season if I have to keep seeing her mouth the words "He's mine" anytime they talk about Ryan!! Ryan could have been on that stage by himself and I think I would have still enjoyed the routine! He is better than his wife as well!
So tomorrow night starts first night of competition. I thought we were going to be told who was paired with who tonight but I guess we'll have to wait till tomorrow!

SYTYCD - Top 20 Announced & My Opinions
Ariana Debose – 18 – Contemporary
Dancer from NC that has been dancing since she was 3. We didn’t see much of her during Vegas week, but the clips we did see she looks like she’s good. Hopefully we will get to know her better in this season’s special “Get to know the Dancers” Episode that will air the day before the competition airs. Again she will need to stand out to be noticed amongst the 8 or 9 Contemporary dancers there this year!
Ashleigh Di Lello – 26 – Ballroom
She auditioned with her husband who appears to be a much better dancer, but she does have talent. Not sure about her personality yet though. She made it to the Top 20 only because Paula turned the show down after revealing she accepted a movie contract that will conflict. So Ashleigh is really lucky to be there and she had better DFHL (dance for her life) every time she hits that stage cuz as soon as she is bottom 3 the judges may boot her considering she got in on a “technicality”. Then again so did Comfort...hehe
Bianca Revels – 20 - Tap
I am so excited for her. Last year after getting cut she claimed she was going to quit. Showing up this year proved that she didn’t do that and I’m so glad to see her make it this year! Can you believe it, the first year a tapper makes it to the Top 20 and there are 3 of them in the Top 20!! I’m hoping she pulls off the other styles well enough to make Top 10, I really like her so far!
Channing Cooke - 18 - Contemporary
She has been competing locally in her hometown of Haverhill, MA. She’s one of Nigel’s early favorites. For me she has not shown me anything that makes me like her yet. I’m hard on contemporary dancers since they are a dime a dozen in these competitions. They have to really stand out to get my attention and other than being a pretty girl I haven’t seen anything that says “yeah” to me yet. She does like watching football so maybe that’s a plus!! HAHA
Ellenore Scott – 19 – Contemporary/Jazz
Ellenore was a breath of fresh air during her audition and I’ve enjoyed watching her since! I expect this gal to go far just simply on personality, but she has great technique as well. She also has a dance style of her own called “Lockerina” and I’m sure they will give her an opportunity to showcase it at sometime during the season if not on the Monday night Special where we get to meet ALL the dancers and see them in their own styles.
Karen Hauer – 27 – Latin Ballroom
I like Karen when she dances Latin Ballroom. She’s definitely a hot little thing and can work those hips in the ballroom area. I’m looking forward to seeing who she’s paired with and how well she pulls off other styles!
Kathryn McCormick – 19 – Contemporary
Kathryn is annoying once she starts crying, so as long as she doesn’t have to talk and cry at the same time we can hopefully tolerate her. She’s not a favorite of mine and will prolly never be. We’ll leave it at that for now.
Mollee Gray – 18 – Jazz
So she is kinda a star already. She’s been in all three High School Musical pictures so she’s worked with Season 3’s winner Sabra. The only thing about her is she just looks like a very little kid. She just turned 18 I think but hasn’t “grown” into that woman-hood look. This may throw the routines a little if she doesn’t come off seductive and sultry depending on what routines she pulls. We’ll see. Jazz falls into the same contemporary category and I need to see more.
Noelle Marsh – 18 – Contemporary
Between her and her BFF Mollee she is more annoying *rolls eyes*. I have to seriously remember that they are only 18. Maybe that’s why she’s more annoying…..Mollee still looks like she’s 14 whereas this girl could pass for her 20’s so yeah, she’s annoying. Hopefully her dancing is much better so that I can overlook just how annoying she is!! She teaches dance back in NC where she’s from. Other than being annoying she hasn’t stood out from the other Contemporary dancers yet.
Pauline Mata – 19 - Jazz
Pauline got hurt during Vegas week and was unable to perform the last Broadway routine from Tyce, but they had seen enough and have added her to the Top 20. I’m looking forward to seeing what she has to offer since she was able to pull a spot without completing Vegas week. She is currently a dance teacher in CA so we’ll see what the next few weeks offer.
Billy Bell – 19 – Contemporary
Billy is currently a student at Julliard and it truly shows!! Amazing technique, but he annoys me for other reasons. Nothing from his talent though. I expect him to go far just cuz he’s been trained in everything!!! I don’t think there is anything he won’t be able to do. He’ll just have to get people to like him and vote for him.
Jakob Karr – 19 – Contemporary
I only remember one clip of Jakob and it was OK. As a contemporary dancer I need to see much more than he’s shown already. I’m not impressed yet, but that can change.
Kevin Hunte – 23 – Hip Hop
This is his second go around if I remember correctly. The first year didn’t work for him with Twitch and Joshua in the picture. Who ended up 1st and 2nd place that year. He’s put in more work and came back and earned his spot this Season. He’s a really good Hip Hop dancer but if he pulls ballroom his first week, not sure how well he’ll do. I’m hoping he gets good routines so he can stay for a while.
Legacy Perez – 28 – Hip Hop/B-boy
Mia has been calling him an asshole since his first audition and I tend to agree with her. He came in so arrogant and he’s not that good!!! I’m SHOCKED to see him in the Top 20! I’m usually an automatic fan of the Hip Hop dancers specially ones that have no formal training but his personality just rubbed me wrong from the beginning and he will have to work to make me a fan. He was in the movie Stomp the Yard and maybe that’s why he was so arrogant, but please … no one remembers you, OK!?
Nathan Trasoras – 18 – Contemporary
This kid auditioned last year but he was only 17 so Nigel gave him a ticket to Vegas for Season 6 and he made it to the Top 20!! I’m excited to see him make it and looking forward to seeing good things from him as well.
Peter Sabasino – 22 - Tap
This is one of the other Tap dancers that made it to the Top 20. He’s been dancing for 16 years and I think it shows. He’s a dance teacher in Philly. I’m not sure what to expect from other styles but his training seems to show he can handle it. Not bad looking either so he’ll be popular! Hehe
Phillip Attmore – 25 - Tap
And our final Tap dancer of the Top 20, has been on stage with numerous other dancers. I haven’t seen much from him so I will have to wait and see. I’m excited that he’s NOT contemporary, but not sure what else he can do.
Russell Ferguson – 20 – Hip Hop
This is prolly my favorite dancer this year!! We will FINALLY get to see what Krump really looks like. I know even if he doesn’t pull that card they will showcase him in group routines as long as he’s there! He’s studied at the Boston Art Academy although I thought he told Nigel during Vegas week he had no formal training. Hmmm….. Still I was MUCH impressed with his Salsa during Vegas week and then he even pulled of Mia’s Contemporary piece…I’m very excited about him and I’m sure we will see him in the Top 10! I wouldn’t mind seeing him win, but it’s too early to make that type of prediction. We will have to see who he’s partnered with and so forth.
Ryan Di Lello – 28 – Ballroom
This is Ashleigh’s hunky hubby (big forhead, huh) who was a shoe-in for the Top 20 from their auditions it seemed from the judges’ reactions to him and his wife audition. I’m not a huge regular Ballroom fan, but he is good so we’ll see how far he gets.
Victor Smalley – 21 - Contemporary
He’s only been dancing for 5 years, but has proven to be quite good. I like him well enough, but he will have to keep up and not sure he can technically! We’ll see. I’m looking forward to seeing what he has to offer. Very not bad looking…hehe
OK, so as I have mentioned a couple of times before there is a new show this year called: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: MEET THE TOP 20. It airs Monday, Oct 26th 8/7 c. During this episode they will showcase each of the dancers in their own style and genre and they will feature a group number choreographed by a couple of the choreographers together. At the end of this hour Nigel, Mary, and Adam will be pairing the dancers up with their partners for the first part of the competition, which airs the next night Tuesday Oct 27th. I think this is one of the best ideas! This way everyone knows what everyone else knows about the unknowns or the ones that didn’t earn a “spotlight” during Vegas week.
So I’ll be back…..enjoy and be happy!!!

GOD vs. Science
'Let me explain the problem science has with religion.'
The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.
'You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'
'Yes sir,' the student says.
'So you believe in God?'
'Absolutely. '
'Is God good?'
'Sure! God's good.'
'Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?'
'Yes'
'Are you good or evil?'
'The Bible says I'm evil.'
The professor grins knowingly. 'Aha! The Bible! He considers for a moment. 'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?'
'Yes sir, I would.'
'So you're good...!'
'I wouldn't say that.'
'But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't.'
The student does not answer, so the professor continues. 'He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Can you answer that one?'
The student remains silent. 'No, you can't, can you?' the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax. 'Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?'
'Er..yes,' the student says.
'Is Satan good?'
The student doesn't hesitate on this one. 'No.'
'Then where does Satan come from?'
The student falters. 'From God'
'That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?'
'Yes, sir..'
'Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?'
'Yes'
'So who created evil?' The professor continued, 'If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil.'
Again, the student has no answer. 'Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?'
The student squirms on his feet. 'Yes.'
'So who created them?'
The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. 'Who created them?' There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized. 'Tell me,' he continues onto another student. 'Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?'
The student's voice betrays him and cracks. 'Yes, professor, I do.'
The old man stops pacing. 'Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?'
'No sir. I've never seen Him.'
'Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?'
'No, sir, I have not..'
'Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?'
'No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't.'
'Yet you still believe in him?'
'Yes'
'According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist... What do you say to that, son?'
'Nothing,' the student replies.. 'I only have my faith.'
'Yes, faith,' the professor repeats. 'And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith.'
The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of His own. 'Professor, is there such thing as heat? '
' Yes.
'And is there such a thing as cold?'
'Yes, son, there's cold too.'
'No sir, there isn't.'
The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain. 'You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit d own to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.'
Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.
'What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?'
'Yes,' the professor replies without hesitation.. 'What is night if it isn't darkness?'
'You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?'
The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. 'So what point are you making, young man?'
'Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.'
The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. 'Flawed? Can you explain how?'
'You are working on the premise of duality,' the student explains.. 'You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought.' 'It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it.' 'Now tell me, professor.. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?'
'If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do.'
'Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?'
The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.
'Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?'
The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has subsided. 'To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean.' The student looks around the room. 'Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?' The class breaks out into laughter. 'Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the professor's brain, touched or smelt the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir.' 'So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?'
Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable. Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. 'I Guess you'll have to take them on faith.'
'Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,' the student continues. 'Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?' Now uncertain, the professor responds, 'Of course, there is. We see it Everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in The multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.'
To this the student replied, 'Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.'
The professor sat down.
If you read it all the way through and had a smile on your face when you finished, mail to your friends and family with the title 'God vs. Science'
PS: the student was Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein wrote a book titled God vs. Science in 1921...

1994 - A different point of view
There is a part of that story where I was unconcious and really wasn't sure what had happened. I shared my blog post with the young lady who helped me that night/morning just to let her see she had been mentioned and she provided me with the below story. It was kinda weird seeing/reading it from that point of view.
Wow!!!!!! Here's the rest of the story...
As I was driving home after the clubs had closed, I heard screaming, but I couldn't tell from where at first. I rolled down my window & saw on a sidewalk, to my right, by a chain link fence that fenced off a potential fall into a tributary, this guy beating/pummeling this girl.
I didn't know what to do. This was also before everyone had cell phones. I landed on my horn to draw attention & never took my hand off of the horn so you can imagine how unnerving that was alone ... I still didn't know what to do.
But never laying off the horn, I slow down & start screaming out my window that "YOU BETTER LEAVE HER ALONE!!! I'M CALLING THE COPS".
Then, my car was too far in front of this incident & I drove forward (still leaning on my horn) to the next turn around in the median, not knowing what I was going to do once I turned around to get back on the scene...thinking that my only plan was to try & run over him w/out running over her & fleeting thoughts of (am I going to be in trouble for hitting him w/ my car).
Thankfully, by the time I got all the way turned around & on the right side of the road & still on my horn, a cop had appeared out of nowhere (later from the trial found out he was guarding a nearby club - maybe the same one you were at -- between your screams & my horn is what drew his attention) & had him on his knees & a gun pointed to his head. I layed off the horn & pulled into the parking lot of that shopping strip, slammed the car in park, jumped out & the cop was ordering me to "get her out of the road" which I did & your purse & spilled contents too.
I remember that night the moon had a fuzzy ring around it (which for some dumb reason I felt the need to point out to you, maybe in attempt to get your mind off what just happened ... understandably, you didn't give a crap - LOL) & you & I just leaned on my car while I held & pet you. I was so thankful you were OK & that I didn't have to run over him.
********************************
That was fascinating to hear the story from your perspective, I don't think I ever heard it in such detail from you before. I'm ovewhelmed at the moment having read what you wrote & reliving these memories.
Wow! It's hard to believe that happened that long ago.
Thanks for Sharing!!!
Much Love,
V

1994
When I was 19 I met what I thought at the time was the love of my life. I didn't love myself then so it was easy to think this guy really loved me.
We basically got married when I was 20. I didn't want to move back home so I moved in with him and his mother and she wouldn't let us live together without being married. Hence, got married a year after meeting him. He was already abusive verbally, emotionally and physically by this time. He drank a lot and he had a bad bad temper! I saw him hit his mother and cuss his mother out. I had had guns held to the temple of my head and the back of my head and told that if I tried to leave he would blow my brains out.
I've had NEW clothes ripped off of me as I'm trying to leave for work cuz I looked "too" good! When I finally started fighting back we tore up the house. We broke TV's, VCR's, windows, A/C units, drawers, tables, beds...you name it, we destroyed it while fighting. I was forever walking into work trying to hide my face or my shoulders or wherever was bruised the worst. Like hiding those would make the others go away.
One night he decided to take me to a club with him. Normally I got left at home as he went out and drank and then came home to beat me up.
He completely disrespected me in the club as though I wasn't even there. He left me sitting at a table for about an hour, I finally go look for him and he’s all hugged up on the dance floor with some other girl. I took the keys out of his pocket while he was on the dance floor and I actually left the club and left in my car. For SOME reason I went back to pick him up when the club closed.
He didn’t even acknowledge that I had left the club and came back so I had the radio on and was totally ignoring him asking me if I had fun and all that garbage, when I refused to answer him he back handed my nose so hard I thought it was broke. Then he started elbowing me in the side of the head. I pulled the car into the medium and jumped out with my purse and jacket and left him sitting in the car. I was determined he was NOT going to beat on me after leaving me in the club by myself that way. He got into the driver’s side of the car and that night he tried to run me over with my own car (car was in my mother's name). He literally drove the car up on the sidewalk right at me. Once I noticed he wasn’t going to stop I jumped a hedge and a little fence and he came right through it with the car. He got a little hung up so I jumped up and RAN! He chased me with the car and when I jumped over a ditch he stopped and jumped out and ran after me. I had stopped cuz I figure the ditch would stop him, he kept coming on foot and by the time I realized it he was on me, he beat me so bad that I passed out on the side of the road.
Next thing I remember is opening my eyes and seeing some girl pick my stuff up from the sidewalk that had fallen out of my purse. I found out at the trial for his murder what really happened after I passed out on the side of the street. THAT cop from that night was also subpoenaed to testify in his murder trial AND the young lady who stopped to help me retrieve my stuff. We are still very good friends today almost 15 years later!!!
Turns out a cop saved my life that night cuz he was doing security at the restaurant on the other side of the ditch I had jumped and heard me screaming and pulled his gun on him and hand cuffed him. Every cop on the scene told me that they could only hold him a max of 3 days. The ambulance wanted to take me to the hospital. I begged them to let me go home and pack my stuff. That's exactly what I did. This was the first time I admitted to myself and everyone around me that he was going to kill me if I didn’t get away from him.
I went home packed everything I could into a 1994 Mazda Protege' and NEVER went back. I visited once to pick up some dishes I needed and he beat me up again cuz I wouldn't stay and talk and have SEX!!! HUH??? I just couldn't believe it!!! This time I almost ran HIM over to leave that house and I left the dishes as well!!!
About 6 months later, he finally gave me my divorce cuz he found a new girlfriend. She was 21 years old and a beautiful girl. I so wanted to say something to her, but she was so "in love" and she wouldn’t believe me anyway is what I told myself.
Approximately a year later, I received a Subpoena in the mail to testify in a trial for the state against him! I was floored when I found out he murdered that poor girl. That started another year of guilty feelings for not telling her! He shot her with the SAME gun he used to threaten me with when I was trying to leave him. He shot her in his MOTHER's house!! She died on the scene before paramedics could arrive. I found from trial this was 13 pound trigger 380 and he shot her once in the shoulder and the bullet exited her hip.
He is now serving a 65 year sentence (30 before he is eligible for parole).
Me personally....I learned A LOT from my 3 year experience with him. I am currently re-married to a WONDERFUL man for the last 10 years, and we have a 7 year old daughter and a 6 year old son and I am happy as I can be!!!
Everyone has their experiences for a reason. The person I was BEFORE my ex would never have attracted my current husband. I went through that experience to make me who I needed to be for my current life....make sense??
I'm hoping that my story and my experience can be helpful for someone!!!
Please feel free to ask anything you want or comment on whatever you want.
